The three sessions will be interactive with discussion, participation and questions encouraged. Between each session delegates will have the opportunity to work on ideas for their own businesses and to gain feedback.    

Session 1 – Wednesday 3 February, 1pm – Starting the marketing planning process

The first session encourages you to take a step back from your business, look at it with fresh eyes and to think like a customer. Looking from the outside in, is a brilliant way to spot new ideas and opportunities.

Session 2 – Wednesday 10 February, 1pm – Reaching your audiences and segmenting your marketing

Building on session one, we will look at the audiences you need to reach in your business and how to create messages which help you to engage with them.

This session will cover:

  • Identifying your audiences
  • Customers and personas
  • Creating powerful marketing messages
  • Audiences and marketing channels

Following this session, you will understand:

  • How to identify your target audiences
  • Marketing personas and how they can help increase engagement
  • How to create marketing messages that engage
  • How segmenting your marketing will increase results

Session 3 – Wednesday 17 February, 1pmJoining up your marketing plan and measuring your marketing

Following on from session two, we will discuss how to communicate with your audiences and personas by creating engaging marketing content for all of your platforms. We will also focus on how you can create a joined up marketing plan that works.

This session will cover:

  • Communicating with your audiences and personas
  • Creating marketing content for your website, advertising and social media
  • Joining up your marketing so that it is effective
  • The importance of measuring your marketing

Following this session, you will understand:

  • How to communicate with different types of customer and audiences
  • Deciding which marketing tools will generate the best results
  • How to join up your marketing plan so that it works
  • Measuring your marketing
