In partnership with NatWest, City of York Council is pleased to be bringing back this popular networking event for women in business this September.
This event aims to inspire women to start, build or scale their business, and connect them with likeminded founders from across the city. Expect to make new contacts, learn about the support on offer for businesses and hear from a range of inspiring speakers, including a keynote address from Cherie Federico, director of Aesthetica, one of the UK’s leading media organisations.
The Keynote Speaker at this event is Cherie Federico, Director at Aesthetica. Aesthetica is a media organisation working across publishing and exhibitions. The first issue of Aesthetica was published in March 2003, and since then the magazine has become one of the leading British art and culture publications with 550,000 readers across print and digital. The publication has national distribution through WH Smith, WH Smith Travel in train stations and airports, Eurostar, all major galleries, and it is exported to 20 countries. Cherie is also the Director of the BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival, bringing the best short filmmaking, XR, Interactive/ Immersive Experiences and Games to both big and small screens while continuing to grow and diversify our audience and provide stimulating and engaging screening and public programmes.
