New funding opportunities for skills training and the Kickstart scheme

2 Sep 2020

FREE webinar: 2 September, 12:15 – 1:00pm

This free lunchtime webinar will clarify the recent government funding schemes aimed at providing workplace opportunities for young people, as well as bringing new skills into your business.

The government’s ‘plan for jobs’ has seen a wide range of additional funding opportunities announced. These are aimed at encouraging businesses to provide new routes for young people into employment, as well as upskill existing employees.

To help you understand what might be right for your business and the process involved, we have partnered with the Education, Skills and Funding Agency (ESFA) to discuss the opportunities in more detail and answer any questions that you may have.

During the free 45-minute webinar, you will learn:

  • what additional funding is available for apprenticeships, T Levels and traineeships
  • the process involved and how these schemes could benefit your business
  • what the Kickstart scheme from the DWP involves and the process for offering placements
