The transition period has ended and new rules are in place – act now to keep your business moving

Step 1: Complete the government’s business checker

You should visit gov.uk/transition where you can use the checker tool to quickly identify the actions that your business needs to take. This will ask you questions about your business and provide all the information you need to be aware and what you need to do with regards to the new rules on areas such as:

Importing and exporting

Moving goods to and from Northern Ireland including the Trader Support Service

Travelling abroad for work

Hiring staff from the EU

The Business Department has launched a series of new, on demand videos to help you familiarise yourself with the new rules and the actions you should take. There are 18 topics, including importing and exporting, trade, data, and audit and accounting.
