Free platform subscription to help sell your produce online during lockdown

With the Government’s announcement of a second lockdown from Thursday 5th November, the impact on high street retail in the lead up to Christmas will be significant. The York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub continues to offer free subscriptions to the community led shopping platform, ShopAppy. The platform can help high street retailers sell their produce online.

Sign up to ShopAppy is easy. The  award-winning digital platform was designed to give small independent businesses a way to operate online and enable consumers to shop locally.

It can be set up with limited technical know-how, and there is support available for registered businesses to upload their products and market the platform to their customers as a local alternative to larger online retailers. By signing up to ShopAppy, businesses can enable their customers to continue to support their local high street businesses during the lockdown. Government guidance issued regarding the lockdown states that click and collect services can continue for retailers.

More information about how to sign up to ShopAppy can be found here: https://staging.ynygrowthhub.com/how-we-can-help/12-months-shopappy-membership/
